Here’s where it gets fun…
In 1984 Tommy Keene released two 12” EP’s on Dolphin Records that featured ten songs; seven originals and three covers, and not a single dog in the house. Where Strange Alliance hinted at brilliance, Places That are Gone and Back Again (Try…) shone with it. These EP’s were the sound of Tommy hitting his stride and establishing a signature sound that would last throughout the rest of his career. I know many of these songs were proudly played often on WHFS back in the day, but really, any one of them could have been a Top Ten Hit in my opinion. It’s a difficult choice, but today’s Happy Medium Song of the Day is “Back to Zero Now.”
