I couldn’t resist. A song originally written for Jeff Beck in exchange for a song; which once got him booed off the stage at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, but met with huge fanfare when he performed it on Sesame Street (!), “Superstition” was Stevie Wonder’s second #1 hit in the US (1973) — ten years after “Fingertips (pt. 2).” Don’t let any black cats cross your path, avoid walking under ladders and stay away from broken mirrors.
