The Happy Medium Song of the Day is “The Suburb in Between” by The Mabels. They're a four-piece from Melbourne and this track comes from their only full-length "long-player" released seven years ago: The Closest People. I love the sense it conveys of everything and everybody being right in a place where they should be: the singer lives in one "place" and the person he's on his way to meet is in a different "place."
