I know it was was originally inspired by the fall of Communism in the Soviet Union, but when I was driving to work this morning listening to a recap of Tuesday’s historic events, the chorus of this song suddenly came to mind and it filled me with as profound a sense of joy as one can possibly have driving on the Beltway at 7am.
